Surefire Scout WML Strobing Problems

I’m my departments firearm instructor and armorer. We have pretty much the same setup in the picture except we have the full size scout instead of the mini. That being said, out of about 40 officers, we’ve had 10 or more scouts randomly begin to do a seize/strobe very dimly while actuating the light. Has anyone else seen this problem? It’s gotten to the point to where tonight we could have been killed due to the light on our rifles malfunctioning. I will be contacting surefire and/or our distributor in the morning. I’ve relied on surefire for years and absolutely love my X300U and Turbo. I wouldn’t have ever expected this from this company.

That being said, what’s a great rifle WML with pressure pad you all would recommend to consider going to?
