Part of the Hobby, Right?

Reddit won’t let me post text right now.

Welp, I got my first messed up order. I ordered the FireflyLite P02 with an FFL351A 4000K emitter (days before it went on sale) because I wanted to test out the rosy tint before spending money on their more expensive lights.

After waiting over three weeks with much anticipation and obsessively checking the tracking information, NLD finally came…

Except, to my great disappointment, they sent me a P02 with an Osram CSLNM1 emitter : (

I sent an email to Ivy asking for an exchange. I guess this comes with the hobby? I’ve been lucky so far, but I was super excited to try out the FFL emitter.

On a positive note, I see that I would never want to purposefully order this Osram emitter. What a horrible tint with a green halo!

W1 serves a specific purpose, and that purpose is a lot of light at a lot of distance. CRI arguably doesn’t matter so much on a thrower—though I agree with you and love a good warm high CRI thrower like SFT40 3000K or FFL505A. Still, a cool low/mid CRI light will be much brighter and more efficient.
