I held out a really long time before buying a Leatherman and I am super glad I did. I was holding out for a ratcheting extender (we all know how that goes). In comes the SOG Powerpint and a cal-van tools finger ratchet. They fit perfectly together. The SOG is always in my pocket and I keep a variety of bits, an extender, and the finger ratchet in a chums wallet (or something similiar in size) in both my Jeep and desk.
$50 SOG Powerpint + $14.50 finger ratchet and no proprietary bits = best of all worlds
