Love this knife but every time I look at it the first thing I see is a big, vertical “gouge” in the fat carbon. It’s so little but it’s really bothering be. Am I alone in this? Should I try to send it back or sand it out?

Do you mean the white line that goes across the handle horizontally?
That’s just the nature of that carbon fiber. Is it a gouge you can feel with your finger? I don’t think it looks bad. It makes it unique.
