That’s not ramping, you’d need to be holding down the switch to make it ramp. That’s “smooth steps”, it’s just smoothly gliding on and off instead of turning on and off abruptly. It’s a feature. You can turn it off.
Not normal, it seems like there is something wrong with the hdr circuit with the two sense resistors. Almost like the lower levels are ok but it suddenly jumps up high. Try a factory reset 13H to see if it solves it. Also see if changing to stepped ramp has a similar problem. If during stepped ramp you see a big jump between levels, then it seems like it could be a hardware issue and you should ask hank about it.
