Hi! A few days ago I asked about NexTool W1 multitool wrench here, but nobody replied. I haven’t seen such a tool before, looks like a unique design. So, when I found the tool for just $12 in an online store, I’ve bought it to give it a try.
Well, it looks and feels nice and tidy out of the box. The blade has no sharp tip, so you can’t stab with it, but is okay for sharpening a pencil or cutting a belt. The file is two-sided. Screwdrivers are, well, screwdrivers, release easily and stay in place firmly. The wrench head can go from 0 to 25 mm (might help with easy plumbing jobs like changing a faucet). For that price I couldn’t ask for more, actually.
Decided I’ll keep it in the car just in case and buy a second one (with a bit holder and bits) for my motorcycle. If it holds up, it’ll save some valuable space.
PS. I know good stuff can’t be cheap, but there’s no reason not to test this thing for $12. If it breaks after one use, I’ll just throw it out without thinking much. And I edc a Leatherman anyway, so I’m covered (hopefully).

The wrench part seems to open comparably to my Knipex Cobras (25mm vs. 27mm on the 125mm model), which is a good thing, as I often have move around garden hoses, and either they’re tight and need to be broke loose, or loose (and missing the darn washer/seal) and have to be tightened down excessively to prevent leaks.

The blunt-tip tanto is a weird choice though. I guess they have designed it for scraping? The blunt tip is not a bad idea. I’ve dropped more than a few knives close to my feet because my hands were oily/greasy/wet while working. Seems Amazon has a version that includes a sheath and bit kit for $25.
