Thanks to the degenerates hanging out on this sub I was lured into trolling ebay for dopamine hits and found good deals on an OG leatherman PST and Gerber Pro Scout.
I paid $40 out the door (shipping / tax) for the scout and it was new in box. Overall impressions are that it ain’t no leatherman but I like the sliding pliers. My brother had a MP600 model when we were kids, he still has it, and I always liked it. It is better quality by far than some of the other gerber multis I have. I wanted it for the saw exchanger. This model doesn’t have replaceable wire cutters.
I got the OG leatherman for $60ish and if it was ever used I can’t tell. The tools are still very tight and the case is in virtually mint condition. No rust, a couple dings but probably a 8/10. I got a wave 2-3 years ago and just wanted an original to collect it.
