The file on the plier variant made more sense for me, so I switched it with the combo tool on the scissors variant. I wanted to keep the slotted screw driver as the one on the cap lifter seems to be less useful. Now I have two vap lifters on the scissors variant.
The mod is very easy, you just need a T9 driver.
Unscrew (thread locker was applied at the factory) the scales on the side of the tool you want to remove. Take the tool out. You might want to fold it out to reduce the spring tension. Be careful, there are washer between scales/liners and tools. Put the other tool on the pivot and put the scales back on. Tighten the scres and done.
