Found a Gerber Diesel recently that was pretty much destroyed and ordered a used MP-600 on eBay. The Diesel’s inner tools were all functional despite being ran over multiple times so I salvaged what I could and integrated several of the tools into my MP-600.
It took forever because the scissors weren’t compatible at first – I had to grind down a section to get it to set right in the handle. It’s a little stiff but everything is fully functional and locks into place.
This was my first time modding/swapping multitool parts but I’m just thankful it worked. Always wanted an MP-600 but really wanted it to have scissors… it all worked out I suppose.
