Handmade in Thiers (witch is the historical knifemaking town in France) by the famous brand “le sabot”. You may not know it but we have a quite strong tradition of pocket knives in France, with almost a design for each main region. Those are “alpin” (from the alps). One is in juniper wood the other one in ebony. “Sandvik” 12c27 steel. With a modern locking mechanism.
Perfect for cutting dry sausage and cheese. I though you guys might be interested in a different type of knife tradition, more old school, rugged and unassuming.
