KR1AA (v3) SFT70 3000k 95CRI
DW4 – S6 – T6 – KR1AA – FWAA
The treeline is 200m away.
Some people have been saying the KR1AA is a flooder and not a thrower, well I disagree. Sure it doesn’t throw pencil thin beams like a reflector or aspheric lens, but with the SFT70 emitter in particular it is very much a light that needs to be pointed and as seen in my test photo it has impressive distance for its size with a wide beam, 3000k, and 95CRI.
Not only that but the KR1AA provides a generous amount of spill, which is important in a walk light so you can see the ground you are stepping on. This is something I dislike about my throwers because whats the point of having so much range if you are going to be pointing it at the ground 10feet away. So while I love the T6 and S6, their use cases are pretty limited.

For reference here is a picture of its direct competitor the FWAA’s beam

I joke, this is just the no light reference picture, but seriously the FWAA is garbage do not buy it, it has 20feet of throw on turbo, absolutely useless. FW3A on the other hand was a great light but they murdered it, like the tv show Firefly that got canceled after one season.
