I've been refining my EDC for the past year to keep me grounded but still connected. I'm using my xteink x4 e-reader and modded ps vita instead of doomscrolling and or using social media. I use my Blackberry Key 2 that I put lineage os on and rooted to access the necessities in texting (with RCS), banking, calling, and spotify if I'm not carrying my iPod. I'm using an iPod Nano 7 because I've found that I've become passive in how I listen to music and I want to truly enjoy the art that people create for others to listen to. If I want to consume media and be entertained I'll do that on my computer and try to be intentional about what I consume. Since becoming adult almost 5 years ago I've lost touch with drawing and painting something I was so passionate about as a kid, so I bring a sketchbook with me everywhere I go so that I can come back to drawing without trying to be a perfectionist. So yeah that's my EDC, sorry if this is a long ramble.

Carry what makes sense for you/ what you enjoy! I would recommend throwing a quality pocket knife, and even a flashlight in especially if you’re carrying a bag.
