Hi! I'm looking for my first mini multitool. I scrolled through reddit and found these tools. Which ones can you recommend? Looking for build quality and reliability.
Maybe I forgot some other good options?

I have the S11 Pro, it works good. The others have too much unnecessary shit on them IMO. Also the blocks glow in the dark, which is cool.
I like my Dime
If you want the scissors to be any good, the M2 is your best bet. Id’still probably go for a Deluxe Tinker because Vic scissors are just an order of magnitude better.
Victorinox Huntsman or Explorer, depending on your preferences
Personal experience with tools is that budget just means “fails when you need it”.
Someone else has suggested a nice base Swiss Army knife which is a very good start.
For a pliers based tool
I’m biased towards Leatherman and personally have been very happy with my daily used and (slightly abused) Rebars. I’ve never cleaned or lubed them in the 10 plus years I’ve had them.
Yeah they aren’t the cheapest of multi tools available…but some things you don’t cheap out on.
PowerPint is a nice pocket carry.
harbor freights gordon multi tool. 40 bucks. Ozark trails has a couple under 20.
Nextool Mini Flagship F12 is an excellent tool. If it wasn’t for the locking blade, it would replace any of my SAKs for daily carry. I’m in the UK. The standard Mini Flagship is also nice.
If it’s a first multitool I think The nextool mini sailor models are really good. That way you can get a sense of what tools you find yourself using the most or what additional tools would be helpful… Also it’s a more budget option which means it won’t break the bank if you decided you don’t like it and it gives you an idea of how to upgrade if feel the need to..
