Let me start by saying I apologize for the AI images. I did as much as i could hand drawing the blade shape on my phone and snipping and cutting the Lynch NW scales to be sized to scale and patchwork the knife together with the basic photo editing software in my phone, and then had ChatGPT texture the blade to look realistic and add screws to the scales since this image was a screenshot of the disassembled scales from their website (it was the most straight on POV image i could find) then snipped an axis lock crossbar in by hand from a stock photo of a bugout.

Now thats out of the way ill explain what this is. Ive been working on a fully customized Benchmade Bugout and ive ordered all of the parts necessary and am currently waiting for them to arrive and/or be created (ill explain later). The scales as previously mentioned are LynchNW Titanium Mod 2's in the sandblasted finish. Ill be using my personal bugout as the donor for the liners since benchmade wont sell them and aliexpress makes poor copies (Ive ordered a set of aliexpress ones for $3 just to have a way to keep my stock bugout blade and scales as a working knife but i expect a drop in quality and action). Ive ordered a set of knivesplus hardware and the larger PB washers and depending on the quality of the hardware i will either use my stock bugout screws and pins or the new ones if the tolerances are decent.

Now to explain the elephant in the room, the blade. What youre looking at is a custom reblade drawing (i did the ai work AFTER i sent it) I sent to Mike of MikesDamascus on Etsy. Ive been eyeing his shop for months thinking about whether or not i wanted to pursue this project and finally pulled the trigger a few days ago. The geometry of the cutting edge is identical to a stock bugout from the lock and pivot to the tip, but the spine has been raised to allow for a spyderco style spidey hole and ramp up with the addition of the thumb stud for multiple opening methods.

TLDR: LynchNW scales on a custom rebladed bugout from MikesDamascus (Etsy) and larger washers from KnivesPlus
