Does anyone have any experience, and/or opinion on this Swiss Tool?

I have Victorinox Ranger, which I love, and it satisfies almost all my needs. The only thing I wish it had, that it doesn’t, is a 3D Phillips. The Swiss Tool is very light, and folds up small. I thought it might be a nice addition to my Ranger carry, mainly for the Phillips, but the pliers could be a nice bonus. Thoughts?

Don’t buy this one–they are garbage, made with really low-grade materials.

Instead, look for one of the original ones from the ’90s, which are usually black. They have “LKL” engraved on the pivot (name of the inventor), as well as “SWSS TECH” and “USA” engraved on the handles. These are made from tool steel, and have precision machined drivers. They are really tough for the small size.

Looks cool, takes up way more space in your pocket than you’d think. A small pocket screwdriver works better in most cases.

    These as pliers is silly

Yes, I had this years ago. Nearing on 15 years at this point. Kept it on my keychain, but it didn’t last long. The pins that hold the rotation of the screw drivers got loose very quickly, after a few uses of the pliers side.

Its alright. Nothing fancy or to write home about. But it works within its limitation.
