I've seen this pattern before on another one of my knives, wondering if this is inherently a good, bad, or neutral sign.
Theres a slight bumpy texture if I run my nail across it.

It’s a spot where they missed the blade with the buffing wheel to polish out the grind marks. It shouldn’t affect the function of your knife at all.
It’s just tool marks from where they ground the bevel onto the blade. Doesn’t hurt anything, just looks weird.
It looks cool!
I’ve seen it on my cheaper knives. Just less finishing to save cost im assuming
