Picked up a drop bear 2 off Amazon for super cheap as a beater/travel knife. Kinda hate the drop point though, the wide tip seems excessive to me.
I'm pondering reshaping the spine on my bench grinder (slowly with a bucket of water to keep it cool) and making it into more of a clip point. Anyone ever try that?
This wouldn't be my first go on a knife – I ground the bolsters off my old kitchen knives so I could resharpen the whole length.
