bought this “smiling shark” flashlight 4 months ago for $2 and it still works perfectly fine also the battery lasts 4 hours, i wonder why people say this brand or something is bad?

   I’ve got a little flat one of the same brand, it was very cheap too. I’ve used it plenty of times to look for things in my closet because the magnet holds it on the clothes bar well. Those little lights are good for small tasks like that.
