It’s not a comparison, just me who accidentally found myself in the dark woods with these lights. Beans are bad, but it’s best I could get atm.

I’ll start with Lumintop Black Cat.

It’s my EDC light, it’s not with me only if I’m asleep or in shower, it’s still in my reach tho. This torch has main led with TIR lens and 4 side leds (UV, warm white and 2 RGB).

For indoor use it’s perfect for me, main led gives enough light to cover around 50m surface with the main led, you can clip it on your clothes and use warm led to illuminate some ground around you, or use rgb leds (which are reasonably bright) as a beacon. Also it has magnetic tail. And all this priced around €10 on Banggood.

Now to the downsides:

UV on this light is pretty useless, waterproof class is IPX4, plastic body which seems pretty fragile and UI is not that friendly. But again, for this price you expect shortcuts and for me they’re almost irrelevant.

Next torch is Lumintop GT Nano v3.1, and my oh my, I would never expect such performance from this tiny light.

I’m keeping it on my car key so it’s with me pretty often.

It’s light source is Osram NM1, lumintop claims 700 lumens and 400m distance in turbo mode which seems almost insane for light size of my pinky. In medium mode (180 lm) it illuminates for whole 50min with single 10280 which is included with torch. Also you can order optional 10750 with extension tube which I also have, but not using it since it’s my keychain light. IPX8 waterproof and 2m underwater is pretty cool, and it feels like sturdy torch overall. €22 (+€7 for extended battery and tube) on Banggood.

No downsides for me.

Third one is my local “sun”, the most bright torch in my collection Convoy 3x21c with seven leds LHP531.

It’s a beast with 24000 lumen output on turbo. Great torch which I’m using for searching and rescuing operations of wounded animals in the woods. Perfectly balanced between flood and throw, capacity of 3 21700 cells gives great runtime, especially in regular use around 20-40% of power.

Torch is pretty chunky, but it’s expected from light this size and with 3 big cells.

Side handle is included, but screw has some wobble even if tightened properly.

Bought for €76 from convoy website and for this performance it feels almost like a steal. This light helped me find and rescue several tens of wildlife animals, as well as more than 50 missing domestic dogs in the woods and mountains, you can’t put price tag on their lives
