As many of you have experienced, the convoy clips have really long screws which dig right into the rubber button. It was really just an eye sore more than anything.
Someone suggested flipping the screws around when attaching the clip and filing them down. I tried this but found it damaged the hole in the top on the inside where the head of the screw was.
I used both nuts on the screw and clamped it down. Used a screwdriver to keep the screw tight.
Filed down too much which lead to two stripped screws. Glad I had an extra clip from my last order. Found the sweet spot to be about 1-2mm from the distance of both nuts. (Pic #1)

Still planning on getting some clips from Rey though. Any other compatible clips out there?? Would love to see my options. I found one that would look sick with the black/copper shorty I have but it was 150$?! Farkkk
