A few surprises from the spec. They still have a Nichia version and the flood light output has increased from 2100 from 2700 lumens turbo (630 to 800 high). The SST25 version has gone up from 3060 to 3800 turbo (950 to 1050 high). I believe that u/PiercingTheDarkness recently found that the OG output 3860 on turbo with higher CDR cells. Perhaps Loop is including better batteries this time around?
The specs also show a sublumen moonlight mode which will be a nice addition since the main lights still don't have it.
Still don't know what the throw emitter is. I've seen speculation that it moved from SFT25R to a "proprietary" emitter (probably Hopthink?). Would have been nice if it was SFT42R. I don't know if this will be much of an upgrade, it was already a pretty great throw before and this looks like an increase in brightness with no add'l throw.
Was hoping the flood emitters would improve to something like the FFL/NTG emitters (also Hopthink) but they're sticking with the green unloved SST25. Disappointed with this non-change.
I'm probably going to get the white version because I've fallen out of love with MAO (for durability reasons) and the black one looks like the non-pro SK05. I'm a fan of the regular SK05 when you can get it for a good price – I think it was recently <$60 in the Amazon sale. It doesn't have regulation, but still has great beams and decent output.
Note: I have no affiliation with Loop. I own and enjoy a few of their lights, including several of the original SK05s but otherwise have no stake in the game. I am saying this because I recognize this post may come off as some sort of hidden marketing thing.
