I’m looking at having a blade made for my Leatherman super tool 300 out of a better quality steel. I carry a razor knife at work for delicate tasks so the knife gets more rough. You slick cutting sod, reaming copper pipes, scraping caulk off tile etc. I included a picture of the different life steals that the blade Smith offers. I was leaning towards K390 or magnacut. I wanted to hold a sharp edge, but I don’t want it to be brittle enough that it will chip easily.

I also plan on having it coated with either a DLC coating or TiN.
