The Cold Steel Talwar I bought from Midway USA arrived this week. This is my 3rd obnoxiously huge Cold Steel folder. Compared to the other two I own (Lynn Thompson Signature Ti-Lite, Mayhem), this is the only one that looks like it would have practical use as a knife. It is proportioned more like a regular sized pocket knife. The S35VN blade is super thin for the enormous size of the knife. The knife is actually surprisingly thin overall. It feels like a giant version of the Code 4 or the Silver Eye, but in G10 instead of aluminum or carbon fiber. The normal Cold Steel Black and Satin pattern makes it look less shocking than my CRKT Ritual. The trailing point shape still manages to give it a middle eastern look. Even if it is more conservatively styled.
