I just got a few ozark trail knives and I wanted to know if they were any good. So far the stag one feels decently solid. But as I’m new to this community- am I the only one who thinks the stag looks kind of like a 110. What exactly would the difference between this and that be besides the one ten lasting longer.
Both of these knives are freshly sharpened on a whetstone I bought recently(800, 1000, 3000, 8000,+strop and cloth).Functionally speaking, these knives are at their best ( to my extent). How would the stag folding knife performance differ from a more expensive knife like a bushcraft or buck 110 with durability aside. Will I feel a difference? Is sharpening it the same or different?
Also what is the difference between the fixed blade and folding, practacly speaking.
(Edit, this is a photo I got from the internet, mine is completely ok build wise I don’t have it with me right now, I’ll put a photo of the fixed blade below)
