Spartan Blades Enyo, the AUS-8A has a locking mechanism on the sheath, the Magnacut does not? Is this true?

Going out to any Enyo owners or anyone who knows the answer to this, why does the AUS-8A have a locking mechanism on the sheath but the Magnacut does not?! I want that locking mechanism but I want the Magnacut blade!
