This Randall Made has been kept in its sheath for the last 20 years, and now I’m looking to restore the tarnish. What should I use to do this? It won’t be kept in its health going forward.

Send to Randall. I did that with the knife that my dad had and it came back perfect.

I’d say test a spot with some jewelry cleaner

If I’m seeing the tarnish correctly it looks like it’s from moisture and you should be able to buff it out with a terry cloth and some brasso. Being that the handle is leather I’d be very careful cleaning agents.

Since you have already received some good advice on how clean the brass guard, I would also recommend using Renaissance Wax on the leather handle and the sheath. It’s a great product for restoring and protecting leather.
