I have a saying: “You don’t really respect a knife until you’ve cut yourself with it.”
Anyone else have a similar knife-related saying? I can't be the only one. Got my brother his first CRK for his 40th birthday. Took him maybe an hour to nick his pinky trying to close it.

I always cherish a knife more when it’s cut me. It’s like we’re blood brothers. I co-sign this! I completely agree
Sounds like a you problem tbh.
I’m definitely more understanding of it afterwards
It’s not yours until it bites you .
I believe a knife is truly yours once it draws your blood

Dropped my Hogue mysto and found out very fast how sharp it was. Went through my duluth firehouse pants like I wasn’t wearing anything.
