Hello there. This knife is the only thing I really have from my late father. I’m looking to find the same model to replace the clip and textured inserts on the handle.
I see it’s a Smith & Wesson but I haven’t had much luck searching on my own.
Additionally, what are my options as far as fixing the paint?

I’m sorry for your loss. Unfortunately the Smith and Wesson knives are “original equipment manufactured” by Chinese ultra discount knife manufacturers, and are generic cheap knives with added logo inlays and painted blade logos. Finding a specific Smith and Wesson knife will be very hard, and potentially impossible. Best of luck.
Honestly I would leave it as is and put it on display. Too valuable emotionally.
Found this sold on ebay. I know it doesn’t help you now, but it at least gives you a model number to keep searching. Finding these new will be difficult but a used one will pop up every so often. Good luck.
