Tacray Tiran II

Tacray Tiran II Limited edition ZircuTi.

Got this bad boy in today and wow, such a beauty for the $248 retail (I think it's at $298 now) and about $60 total after my cash back points.

Solid ZircuTi handles which was a neat surprise as I was expecting the ZircuTi over steel liners but nahh, just solid slabs of ZircuTi which is sick!

There's also 3 versions of this one. The "base" model is a silver Ti with a satin 10cr copper mai blade, a "stealth" model with DLC coated Ti handles and a matte finish DLC coated blade of ZDP-189, and this "limited" model with the Zirc and a brushed DLC blade, also in ZDP at 65+ HRC.

I did a mock up of this model with the copper mai blade on it (check the comments for said mock-up) and I think I'll definitely be swapping these blades out later on.

Also when I get both in to swap the blades, I'll be sure to send the ZDP one to u/679696 to see how Tacray is doing on their HRC. They've had about 3 models now with ZDP claiming 65-67 depending on the model and coating for around $250-$300 so I'd like to see if we're being cheated by another company.
