I think 90% of the knives sold there are counterfeit

They are as beautiful as my dreams.

I’ve never been to a gun show.
But there seems to be a trend where people that came from a gun show, come here to post their new knives, only to be told they are counterfeit or cheap pakimascus

I just assume most, if not all, are fake.

A lot of garbage but also a place to find some awesome stuff. I’ve only been to a couple but found one of those you dream of a few years ago. I found someone selling off a large GEC collection they’d got from an estate sale. While not super cheap, they were cheap in the GEC secondary world. I ended up spending over a grand on a bunch GEC knives that day but some of the individual knives were worth 6x what I paid

All poor quality zinc alloy Chinese OTFs from 10 years ago, often rebranded and sold by Cobra tech, Viper tech,Tac Knives etc, modern clones are much better now . but I wouldn’t recommend any of those, get a Kershaw Livewire at a minimum if you’re considering an OTF.
* I didn’t look at the other pictures,I see Cobra techs in there, wouldn’t get one though. The Spyderco may be real but I’d be wary and buy somewhere else,Spyderco clones are really accurate looking these days, the Kershaws too, highly cloned and potentially fake at gun show

I’ve bought a few at gun shows, but there’s a problem with them. When you go to gun shows, the knives you see are either gas station knives, the same Kershaw, CobraTech, or MicroTech knives you see everywhere else, or you see the table of some guy learning how to blade smith, with handles that are made out of antler that you could never actually use because they’re curved at weird angles.

I’m German and we don’t need guns as civilians.

Very often counterfeit stuff, and sometimes very overpriced.

I’m 90% sure when I was like 12. I paid full price for a fake mini griptilian with all $75 I had to my name at a gun show lmao

My favorite thing to do at a gun show is to look for the saddest looking clones of benchmades
