Looking for a good quality camping/survival based knife something that can do a bit of everything and still stay in one piece. The gerber stronghold is highly praised but I see a lot of people saying other options are better for the price. What are your thoughts and recommendations? I have a crkt hunt 'n fisch fixed blade, its smaller about 6+" tip to tail.

My daughter bought me one of those a couple years ago for Christmas. I keep it strapped to my dayhiking bag.
It’s good enough to use and abuse on hikes and it makes my daughter smile that I always have it.
