Does anyone else remember when Cedric and Ada proved a knife wasn’t CPM 154 as listed, back in like 2016 or 17? And the response was that the steel was one they were testing against 154, and it just happened to be a one off that got mixed in with the “real” stuff.
Sure was lucky that the one off just happened to make it to a well known knife content creator with enough reach to warrant a response. Imagine if that totally one mistake piece made it to some normal guy who was wondering why his knife rusted to shit the moment it got moderately humid outside.
