I feel like Lynch clips are way less stiff than this. I wish the one they made for pro-tech didn’t hang off this model. When I wear delicate pants like slacks this thing will definitely rip it up. Any tips for loosening without ruining it? Been trying to just leave it stuck open a bit like this.

Just pull it back with your fingers. Start with low pressure and keep going until you get the desired tension. If you go too far you can take the clip off and bend it back.
I use my benchmade’s clip to open beers, and sometimes I have to bend it back with a screw driver as a lever under it.
The secret is to screw it on 180 degrees the other way, then gently bed it up. Works every time.
