Got my first DM11 a few days ago, and I’m pleasantly surprised by it. I usually prefer lights like the S2+ and D4K, so this one initially felt a bit oddly shaped. However, I quickly came to appreciate the excellent hand feel and ergonomics. It’s very throwy, and the pure cool white works great for certain applications, though it’s not ideal for extended use. Overall, I really like it.
I also got heavily downvoted yesterday after sharing a rant about not being able to reach Firefly’s customer service. After doing some research, I found a mix of both positive and negative experiences. I’m still hoping to get my first Firefly light soon, but I don’t quite understand the downvoting culture. Isn’t the point of these communities to share our experiences? One negative experience shouldn’t be dismissed just because others have had many positive ones. That said, it sometimes feels like sharing anything negative is discouraged, so I may avoid doing that in the future.

regarding downvoting, it’s a tradition of redditors, can’t blame them i guess.

can you swap a sft40/25r in this light? give us some beanzz
My own experience with firefly is pretty decent. It takes them around one day to reply.
The B35AM being the only emitter thats both high CCT and high CRI is a shame. I wish there were more.
Does the DM11 with the B35AM come with the lume X1 boost driver, or does it come with the previous boost driver?
