Decided I wanted to try some non-standard emitters in the D4K. Included are pictures of the aluminium MCPCB for B35AM emitters and a copper MCPCB for 5050 emitters. Both are 22mm to fit inside most Emisar/Noctigon quads. Here you see the D4K I put a set of 5000K B35AM emitters in I got from Convoy.
To fit the 5050 emitters I needed a separate aux board, which I chose to use single color indicator LEDs on rather than triple colors. I used red/green/blue dialight 1608(metric) with 0603 resistors. The values are 1.2kOhm for green, 0.9kOhm for blue and 0.27kOhm for red. This is still a little weak on the red side, so if you want to replicate it and get a nice yellow you should take a slightly lower resistance for red. Since I wanted to try the new board already I put it in the B35AM version as well, even if the original board would fit.
Apologies for the shitty picture quality, I do not have a proper camera and my phone has seen its best days.
