If I'm looking at getting a Manix 2 and installing AWT scales, is the Spyderco Warranty worth spending an extra $25 or so dollars, as opposed to buying a pre built Manix for cheaper than buying the knife and scales separately?
I've heard mixed experiences on the spyderco warranty process.

You’d be voiding warranty either way so if you’re sure you want those scales just get it pre built
What are you planning on doing that might be considered for warranty?
Spyderco isn’t great about warranty anyway. They won’t replace a blade nor sell you a new one, they fight with you on extra hardware too. So go ahead and get it built the way you want.
