Hello EDC subreddit!
I saw a lot of nice EDC posts here, and I even got a flashlight/Swiss Army Knife/pocket sized screwdriver set to use them on a daily basis. But I don't really use them every day literally, so I decided to show my actual EDC that I bring with me!
Digital Camera: Kodak EasyShare Z1485 IS. I bought this secondhand! it comes with a bag too, but I took it out to pose for this pic. It has a 32 GB SD card from SanDisk inside. [link to the camera] [link to the sd card]
Smartphone: iPhone SE 2020 128 GB Midnight Black. I bought this phone refurbished and it arrived yesterday. I got a privacy screen protector, a camera cover, a wrist strap, and a rugged case for this little friend! I also use the Lightning tip EarPods to listen to podcasts and make phone calls. Handheld Gaming Console: Nintendo Switch Lite Yellow. I bought this friend last year as a graduation gift for myself, and the physical copy of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I eventually bought more games (I have 8 physical games now! And a lot of nice digital games and demos) so I ended up purchasing a 128 GB SanDisk SD card for it. E-reader: Kobo Clara 2E 16 GB. I read classics I sideload via Calibre (a computer program that manages your book library and aggregates news) on this device. Bought it almost 2 years ago and I love reading on an e-ink screen since my eyes get pretty tired on the computer every day anyway. I use the official Kobo Origami Case on it, but unfortunately the sides broke off so I am going to purchase a new case) [link to the e-reader] [link to the case]
Music Player: iPod Classic (2009) 80 GB. I purchased this little friend secondhand a couple of months ago. I use iTunes on my computer to sync up my offline music library, but the battery doesn't last very long. I have about 1800 music pieces, an audiobook, and lots of podcasts on this device. The wired earbuds I use is called JBL C100SI, it has a microphone and music controls, but the iPod does not support these features. [link to music player] [link to earbuds]
Card Holder: This was a gift from one of the companies we work with, I got this a very long time ago and I do not remember when I got it. But I use it to easily access my ID card, my driver's license, my public transport card, and my credit card. Four slots, just enough for me. I do have a bigger wallet though, it houses store cards and some paper money/coins.
Car Keys with a GPS tracker: That cat isn't just an accessory haha, it actually has a knock-off AirTag (GPS tracker device) on the inside. The cat is just a silicon housing.
House Keys: Self-explanatory. The two accessories are a resin key chain of a visual novel video game character (Monika from DDLC), and a gift my sister got for me, an expandable 50 cm ruler. It's really nice and I fiddle with it a lot.
Thanks for reading my post, have a good day!
Note to the mods: If me providing links is considered marketing, I can take them down! I put them there for easy access to everyone, but I understand if it goes against this subreddit's rules.
