I used to mod Armytek lights quite frequently, but sourcing them in Canada became a challenge in recent years. Instead of just doing random special orders, I’m now stocking many of the headlamp models for modding as part of my standard modding lineup alongside Zebralight and Olight.

These available in a wide range of popular high CRI LEDs, in regular Black as well as the extremely nice Olive and Sand finishes. Since I use the standard model for the Wizard C2 Pro, it has one higher turbo level than the Nichia Wizard, as well as better tint and colour rendering than the R9050 144AR.

As with all my mods, they are opened without cosmetic damage, and the factory silicone driver potting is retained. The bezels can be incredibly tight, which you can see from the burrs dug into the bodies during the original assembly. I actually had to start using a bench vise to reassemble them because my little engineering vise isn’t capable of fully pressing the bezels, which isn’t an issue I’ve encountered before.

The beamshot photo is a random assortment of modded lights I was preparing to ship. The available LED options are listed at the bottom of my comment. I can also install a Zircon filter under the glass to correct the tint on LEDs I wouldn’t normally use, which is quite useful in certain configurations.

My pricing is kept close to regular retail. All prices are in USD. Shipping to the United States is $8 (plus a $6 tariff fee). International rates should be quite reasonable. Please send me a chat request if you’re interested!
