In my recent search for a replacement MH20GT, I managed to get a hold of a few extras in minty shape! This one was previously modded by Vihn (SkyLumen) with an XP-L HI 4000K, but the tint was quite green (standard issue for CREE).

I went ahead and swapped in an NTG35 4200K 95CRI, which comes in at 4300-4500K (CCT increases slightly with output), an incredible 99.1CRI, and a beautiful rosy -0.0067 DUV.

Not only is the tint and CRI greatly improved, but it's pushing nearly identical output and throw vs the stock XP-L HI V3. 10 years ago when this light was released, they couldn't even dream of having a 950 lumen emitter with near perfect CRI AND rosy tint to drop in this beauty!

Included some comparison beam shots with the stock MH20GT XP-L HI V3. Camera settings locked with white balance at 5000K.
