I've been looking at the i3t 2, I want 2 of them, one for EDC and one for a power outage box and it seems like a good backup. Should I get it?

Solid, I’d grab some lithium primaries to toss inside as they have much longer shelf life and don’t leak like alkalines.

It depends your use case, but I’d probably go with something with at least a 21700 if it’s staying at home, even if that did mean an occasional charge – these can often be used as a powerbank too, but in that box I’d have a power bank if not anyway that would need an occasional charge.

Or consider the Wurkkos TS27 which has a quite large LifePo4 battery that should hold a charge for a good amount of time, also works as a lantern.
