After a few years of rotating between various Hank lights, Zebras, and other pocket rockets, I've determined that I don't give a shit if my pocket light is capable of a 1,000+ lumen turbo. What matters way more is that the light is compact, easy to use, and has an easily accessible moonlight mode.
Enter the Lanapple. It doesn't get especially bright and it's not especially small, but for me it strikes a balance. The stonewashed titanium has gotten beaten up in a relatively short time, but I'm not precious with my things so I'm just happy the pocket clip hasn't snapped or bent.
I won't deny that a high-lumen turbo is fun. I still keep a Wuben X1 by the back door to light up the backyard and a Loop Gear SK05 Pro in my camping kit. I'm just done trying to make a pocket rocket make sense.

Just got an aluminum green LANapple on the latest holiday sale. Took forever to ship bc of the holiday and I didn’t really care since I am more than flush with great edc lights… and even as an avowed Anduril fan and just having gotten 3 new KR1AAs… I have to say I love my LANapple. The 519a does a perfectly fine job, it fits well in the pocket and I really have enjoyed carrying it for the past week.
