Need your help. Posted something similar the other day but I still can figure this out. This is the MKM LOV kickback knife. For the life of me I can’t figure out how to get it reassembled with the spring properly positioned. For one thing, the spring is wider than the gap in the scales. Like if it’s positioned perpendicular to the scales, you can’t get the scales on. It’s as if there should be a groove in the scales for it to fit into. So if not that, how should it be positioned?? Thanks!

Don’t know anything about this knife but are there no liners? I don’t see any witness marks from the blade or bearings.

That’s a collar stay for a shirt mate, not a knife spring. Were you the one to disassemble the knife?

Maybe a dumb question…. Are you sure that silver piece came out of that knife? The back lock bar is its own spring,

I dont see any need or space for the shirt collar stay looking piece

This is one of those knives that is NOT dissassembly friendly it seems. How does the blade keep from hitting that piece *when* it is finally re-assembled anyway? That whole mechanism in pictures doesn’t make any sense. You’d think there would be a cutout in the lock for the spring to go into keeping it pulled downward toward the blade, not pushing it up.
