Wasn't a fan of the 3D printed cases out there and found a commercial product called Battery Caddy. It was nearly perfect except it didn't come in the size variants I wanted (like singles and doubles) but more importantly it didn't fully cover the negative terminal when placed negative side down.
One thing to note specifically for the flashlight community, I haven't tested these on protected cells.
