During this cut test video, a Medford with a new 600-grit edge is able to handle any task EXCEPT slicing through paper. Even after stropping, the knife continues to perform acceptably on harder tasks but cannot slice paper at all. What do you think is the problem?

It’s a Medford. Might as well sharpen a shovel, might actually be more ergonomic too.
