Should I buy the Thor mini as a first LEP?

Yesterday, I made a dumb comment saying it's better to get a Wurrkos TD01C instead of the Thor mini cuz the TD01C has further throw. dumb I know, and now I want it as a first LEP, specifically for EDC. Should I pull the trigger?
