Olight i3E EOS doesn’t turn on every time

Is this a known problem or do I have a dud?

Sometimes it turns on perfectly. sometimes you can twist and untwist and knock that thing (softly of course) against something, but nothing happens. After 5 minutes it acts like nothing happened and works fine every time, until not.
