I was doing research to find a good red light for coyote hunting(they just got one of my geese). Convoy kept coming up and I wanted to run the build list past the experts.
Convoy S6, 18650 flashlight
LED Type: SST-20-DR
ColorTemp: 660nm deep red
Driver: 2.5amps 12 group buck
Battery: Molicel M35A 3500mAh (this is the area I really have no idea the difference between the battery options)
Would this be a good list? If anyone has other thoughts please let me know.

I don’t really have anything to say regarding the hunting aspects of this but the only characteristic of the battery that matters here should be capacity as the 2.5A driver won’t draw enough current to overpower any cell. If you want maximum capacity (runtime) you could consider the vapcell N41, but that’s about it. Keep in mind that convoy lights do not have a built in charger and neither do the batteries, so you’ll have to buy a lithium battery charger if you don’t already own one. (in that case you can use whatever 18650 cells you already have.)
Also, the reflector on the S6 is a deep one so you’ll have high throw and a very tight hotspot for the light if that is desirable.
