Howdy, flashlight nerds! I'm looking to replace my work Streamlight Protac 90x that has gone bad (constant flickering, frequent failures to turn on, etc), and am hoping for suggestions that fill a similar niche/form factor. It will live on a radio strap as pictured and be exposed to the elements as well as some abuse, so durability is king. Variable output intensity would be a plus. Help a flashlight noob out, please!

  1. Wizard C2 Pro Warm, or cool if you want that more hyper white light. I use one for work and it is the go to for me. I could list all the ways it can be used but short list after it is a headlamp/flashlight:

Clip can angle light when laid on flat surface

Clip can hang on chest or bag for a better angle for some work

    Dual o ring sealed

    Takes a drop well

  2. General-Try-2210

Convoy H series. Dirt cheap and pretty tough. Can double as a headlamp too.

Streamlight will replace that for free if you mail it in.
