I would say yes you are picky. Human errors do happen and i would love to keep a knife rather than a company having to throw it in the garbage cause of such tiny detail. It reminds me that we are human and we do mistakes and such tiny ones dont matter. Even the best of us make mistakes so why bother with such a minor one. You can send it back and they will replace it if it bothers you that much
