I was able to pick this up from the good people over at knife_swap and is my second “nice” pocket knife I have ever owned. I previously owned an ABW model 1 and unfortunately lost it (long story there unfortunately). I wanted to upgrade and this knife always peaked my interest.

What I love:

– the Terzuola design is unbelievable. I am now fixated on old Terzuola models wishing they weren’t a couple grand! Love the simplicity and very tool first design

– blade provide is perfect, I carry this daily and just need it for simple cutting tasks on a construction site and breaking down boxes. Definitely more knife than I “need” but nonetheless does a phenomenal job

– thumb disks are sweet, no doubt about that!

– it just feels special. I know there are so many other knifes that from a “specs” perspective are “better” but this just has that special, family heirloom feel to it, I want to bang this thing up and have it 30 years from now with a million little scratching and pass it down in the family.

What is just different for me:

– being a small knife and a liner lock, the liner is easy to get to but not SUPER easy to use. Only took about a day or two to get used to but my ABW was way easy and the jibbing is a bit soft on the liner lock so just a bit different for me.

Overall I couldn’t be happier. I love tactile designs but this one sings for me. I know really want one of there different thumb studs just because at this point but I’ll live with it for now because it’s pretty much perfect for what I need. Cheers!
